FAMILY RADIO MISSION TO INDIA
Maharashtra State
July 15-26, 2003
LETTER #1
""Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.""
(Psalms 65:4)
Wednesday, November 12, 2003. By God’s wonderful grace our group of 16 “Ambassadors for Christ” successfully completed the first phase of Family Radio’s 18th Mission to India.
Our members arrived from several states of the USA, Holland and South Korea. We were joined by an India lady who has worked with us on past trips.
We arrived in Mumbai (Bombay) early Wednesday morning, took a short flight to Pune, and continued South by bus to our first city in Maharashtra State called “Satara”. We learned that Maharashtra means “Big State”. We plan to distribute 200,000 “Does God Love You?” tracts in the State language called “Marathi” along with one thousand Bibles in that language and other Family Radio Bible teaching materials, as the Lord allows.
After an afternoon meal and a short meeting to thank our Lord for bringing us here in His service and making plans for the week, we all retired early, tired and joyful.
