Letter #1 Thursday, March 14, 2002
"My soul, wait only upon God; for my expectation is from Him".
Psalm 62:5
Tomorrow, we will begin another Family Radio Worldwide Mission visit. By God's wonderful grace, a group of sixteen
Missionaries have arrived and will enter the city of Puebla, Mexico, with the knowledge that two Hundred and Fifty-Thousand
tracts await. This will be our fourth visit into Mexico and each of us joyfully await what our Lord has prepared
for this visit. Two of us arrived early in order to try to ensure that all of the preparations are in place so
that our group can begin without any hindrance.
We will find a city bustling with people from early morning to late evening. We distributed thousands of tracts
while setting up the trip and refusals have been few and far between. We have learned to cast our trust and expectations
only on our Savior during these past ten years and have never once been forsaken. Truly our Lord's Spirit has led
us in and out of situations that seemed to be difficult on the surface, but the victory has always been our Lord's.
"Now thanks be unto God which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh
manifest the savor of His knowledge by us in every place."
IICor.2:14
In our preliminary visit, we have found a number of locations that have constantly had large crowds of people.
The Central Bus Terminal dispatches hundreds of buses daily throughout Mexico. One of the great assets in handing
our tracts there is found in the people leaving there and going back to cities we will probably never visit. We
met a young girl in back of a reservations counter in the bus terminal and handed her a tract. "This is just
what I need. I have so much trouble in my life". She spoke fluent English and began to tell us as to how a
divorce between her mother and father started her off into a life of misery and problems. Again and again in our
conversation, she would revert back to this split in her family that still weighed heavily on her heart these many
years later.
We began to speak of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and His command to "come unto me, all ye that labor
and are heavy laden and I will give you rest". Matthew 11:28 This young girl's expectation of needed help
it turned out however, was only money. "This is what I need and God cannot help in this area". Let us
pray for her that the Gospel words on the "Does God Love You?" tract turn her heart to our God that is
always waiting to give place through salvation to every soul that truly seeks Him.
Puebla is a strong religious city that is seeped in the Catholic Faith. We have found idolatry every where we travel
and we have been praying that our Lord will give us a burden for each person we meet. The people themselves seem
kind and very respectful and one can't help but to have a growing fondness for the city in general. We have twelve
days of hard work that will face each member of our group; but we know that our gracious Lord will sustain us.
Please pray that our focus remains only on our Lord and that we continue to wait for Him to strengthen us daily.
truly feel that the prayers sent up to the mercy seat have helped to maintain us over the years. May our precious
Lord bless each one of you as you continue in His grace.
"And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God: we have waited for Him,
and He will save us, this is the Lord; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation."

Letter #2 Sunday March 17, 2002
"Therefore turn thou to thy God: Keep mercy and judgment, and wait on thy God continually."
Hosea 12:6
Our full team of sixteen people has arrived safely at the Hotel and we are rejoicing as a group that we have a
wonderful opportunity before us. Our blessed Lord has raised up a mission work and protects and nurtures it continually
on every new mission visit. We see His blessed hand of mercy clearly as we seek to follow His directions in the
Scripture for the Believer to be a servant and a witness.
This is the calling for every Christian and we must heed the call. Our group has six new volunteers who have never
traveled on a Family Radio trip. It was so exciting at our first meeting to see the enthusiasm and anticipation
that was so evident as we went from person to person during our time of introduction. Each of our new people had
heard much about God's abundant grace on each of these cities visited and they decided to come to view and participate
firsthand.
We examined the layout of the city in general and set our overall plan of operation in place. We have one major
need to prayerfully seek our Lord's grace and that was in the area of Bibles. We had ordered 300 Bibles from Trinitarian
Bible Society along with hundreds of calendars. They were shipped weeks ago with a promise of a ten day delivery
date. Tour dismay, they have not arrived. We have checked with Trinitarian and no one seems to know where they
are now located. We asked the entire group tounite in praying that we might indeed receive these Bibles and calendars
in time for us to get them into the hands of those our Lord would want to have them. Indeed this was a time for
us to wait on Our Lord.
On Friday morning, we took our first excursion into the city as group. One group went to a large market called
Plaza Dorada. We were told that it would be "slow"until after 10 am, but it would be "monumentous".
Thereafter, it turned out to be a wonderful beginning and almost every one took a tract and many expressed their
love of Jesus Christ.
A cab driver called the missionary back that gave him a tract and pleaded for more. He wanted to give one to those
using his cab. Our missionary saw the eagerness and his demeanor and gave him about twenty tracts. In Mexico, we
have found that when a person received a tract they keep it close, to their reach, and quickly pull it out for
display when they again approach the person that handed it to them. They do this proudly as if to say "see
I have kept it and it is important to me". There is great evidence of God's blessing on the reports received
concerning our first visit into the streets. Each team distributed thousands
of tracts and many returned to the hotel to repack and head back into the streets.
One of our missionaries stood outside of a Catholic Church and handed out tracts to those entering and leaving
the Church. After a while, he peered into the church and saw a number of people sitting in the pews reading the
tract. Our continual prayer on our hearts is that many will read the scripture on the tract and come to truth.
One of missionaries was visited by a blind man. She wanted desperately to give him a tract and by God's grace there
was a second man who volunteered to read the entire tract to him. This is a wonderful interaction in that two people
now benefit from the words on the tract. We feel it is important to always place a tract into the hands of one
who is blind and trust our Lord to have it read to him. One of our missionaries related a peculiar but a beautiful
story. Our man was parked on a corner handing out tracts when two men approached. One had a guitar and both stated
that they were Christians. They set up and began to
play and sing. They sang quite well proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ in song. This attracted a number of people
over to receive tracts. They sang about seven songs and then joined together in prayer with our missionary prior
to leaving. Our missionary is an astute veteran of many mission trips, but he was deeply touched by this whole
time of praise to our Lord.
We received a wonder word of joyful news when we returned to the hotel. Our Bibles were safe and sound at the Central
Post Office. Two of our group went and secured them and they now are safe and sound in our hotel and awaiting distribution.
We praise our God for His faithfulness. Each member of our group is so excited in the early results of our efforts.
Each new trip is a wonderful blessing. We will be leaving again for Kiev in the Ukraine on April 29. Please prayerfully
consider joining us. You
can receive further information about this trip by calling 1- 800 543 1495 Ext.299 immediately as there is one
extra step taken on a Russian trip and that is applying for a visa and that takes an additional two weeks. This
trip again looks like God's hand of blessing is guiding us day by day. Oh how good it is to praise His blessed
Name.
"The eyes of all wait upon Thee; and Thou givest them their meat in due season.
Thou openest Thine hand, and satisfies the desire of every living thing"

MISSION TO PUEBLA
Letter #3 Monday, March 18, 2002
"Lead me in Thy truth, and teach me; for Thou art the God my Salvation; on Thee do I wait all the day."
Psalm 25:5
We continue to praise our precious Lord for the door of opportunity that He has opened up in Puebla, Mexico. Our
team is one that has, by God's grace, remained healthy and dedicated to the task at hand. Many, many thousands
of tracts have been given into the outstretched hands of the Mexican people apparently ready to receive and read
the truth of God's Word.
We have found that one very useful piece of information found at the complete end of the tract has caused several
people to comment positively on our reason for coming to Puebla. A young man approached one of our missionaries
and said, "Why have you come to Mexico. Is it to raise money, or to publicize your radio station?" The
answer our missionary gave was, "Only to speakabout the Gospel of Jesus Christ". The young man answered,
"I saw the words at the end of you tract that said, "Non-denominational". "Does that mean you
do this without any attachments to any cause or any reason except to glorify God?" Both the missionary and
the young man agreed that the Gospel cannot be bound by any reason except to strike men's souls as to their need
for a Savior.
Family Radio Missions consistently speaks only to Ist Corinthians 15:3. "For I delivered unto you first of
all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scripture and that He was buried,
and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures". This is our reason for becoming missionaries
and these are our marching orders. We will never compromise our devotion to Jesus Christ and His Gospel only.
As you might remember, we found a great delay in a shipment of approximately three hundred Bibles in the Spanish
language sent to us by the Trinitarian Bible Society. We finally received those Bibles on our second day here but
then came the problem as to how to intelligently distribute them. By God's wonderful grace our Lord has also now
resolved that problem. It seems that three of our missionaries spoke to the front desk in our hotel seeking to
find a prison. We had spoken about that desire in one of the meetings. We found that one of the hotel employees
has a brother in the only prison in Puebla and he instructed our missionaries as to how to get there for a visit.
They immediately did visit the prison and set up the opportunity for us to go next Sunday in order to present these
Bibles donated by Family Radio listeners straight into the hands of those men residing in the prison currently
occupied by one thousand inmates. We will keep you informed as to the progress of our blessed task at hand.
Please pray for this very important distribution of Bibles. I praise our Lord for those people who send forth money
in to the Family Radio Mission work earmarked solely for Bibles. What a wonderful way to honor our Lord. One of
our female missionaries had her heart pierced with sorrow when she saw a young man struggling with carrying a huge
cross with a figure depicting Jesus pinned on it. She very quietly reached over to him and put a tract in his hand
as he held onto this giant cross.
Let us pray that both he and many others like him who are blinded by idolatry are moved by God's Word into the
light of trusting in our Savior and not some idol curved out of wood.
"Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry".
I Corinthians 10:14
Another one of our team wondered into a religious store that had every type of idol worship. There were very
many people buying these abominations, and some of them took a copy of our tract. Our missionary approached the
proprietor and offered her a tract. She looked at it and gave approval. Our missionary then placed approximately
thirty tracts by the cash register and asked if this would be OK. The manager again said yes. We have spoken to
our group and advised each of them to seek the same opportunity in other stores visited that have the same type
of idolatry. Once again we see everything going along very well during this visit with a Family Radio group. God
continues to bless us with every aspect of our need.
From the weather to the fellowship, and to every other imaginable necessity. We have encountered some displeasure
with our visit and it has always involved those who are members of the Catholic Church. "Is this Catholic"
several people have asked our missionaries. Our response has always been something like "This is the Bible".
Our tract focuses on Jesus Christ and His holy Word, The Bible. Very often the person has given a nod of approval
and has taken the tract, but there have been some exceptions.
One woman began screaming at one of our mission members as he handed out tracts. "You are not Catholic, you
are a cult".
Our missionary continued on with his distribution. She grabbed onto his free arm and continued screaming at the
top of her lungs. He walked over to two men on a bench as they watched in amazement. Our missionary said "This
is very important". The young men reached out and took a tract while the woman railed even louder, "These
are Jehovah Witnesses or Mormons don't get involved". We praise our Lord that His Holy Word will overcome
any kind of tribulation.
Each of our sixteen missionaries are so happy to be here in Mexico doing our Lord's work. Please consider praying
for our Lord to bless the work that we are doing here and also pray about supporting Family Radio and all of the
work this ministry has performed in the will of our Lord, over the past forty-three years. Each of us must continue
to always watch and wait for God's mercy and grace in our lives and to always remember to thank Him for all He
has done for each of us. We must always praise His name.
"And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ".

Letter #4 Tuesday, March 19, 2002
"And kings shall be Thy nursing fathers and their queens thy nursing mothers:
They shall bow down to Thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shall
know that I am the Lord: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for Me".
Isaiah 49:23
Our team continues to wait on our Lord for His abundant blessings. His eternal Word is our comfort and we see His
wonders daily. We have come to Puebla to minister, but daily we are sending at least one team into a surrounding
city. We have already carried tracts into six other cities and have many more set for future evangelism.
Our tracts are going out at a very accelerated rate. Every where we travel, we find outstretched hands waiting
to receive the tracts. Our Lord has blessed us in so many areas; it is impossible to count the ways. It is so comforting
to see the oneness in our team's desire to serve our Lord, Jesus Christ. One of the highlights of our time here,
is the evening meeting. We gather together in song and praise to our Lord and then have a short teaching from God's
Word. We end up our meeting with having everyone share their experiences during their day of distribution. I feel
that this helps us to draw closer together in that we come to know, through common experience the joyful ways our
Lord is leading each of us.
A further benefit becomes apparent when each of these experiences becomes transcribed to these letters sent back
to be read over the radio and the size of our mission team grows ever larger with prayer partners in the Family
Radio listening audience. Everyone cannot travel on these mission trips, but all of us can rejoice in seeing this
Gospel of our Lord's deliverance touch people in areas all over our world.
Our Lord constantly teaches us in new ways to reach people with the truth of His Gospel. We go into parks and schools.
We greet both the very young and the very old with our tracts and always try to approach each person we see with
a smile and a cheerful voice. We try to always keep our focus on those that we are meeting and try to resist the
temptation to let our mind wonder away from our vital responsibility here in Mexico.
One of our missionaries found a very effective method to reach cars traveling down a major highway. Puebla has
speed bumps in the highway periodically on most of its roads. One such bump was located right across from a large
statue of Mary. Many of the people become very reverent when approaching such relics and our missionary very effectively
used this occasion for the good of the Gospel. He found that every time a car or truck would approach this bump,
many of the drivers would slow down
almost to a stop, and would carefully make a sign of the cross. Our missionary placed himself at the appropriate
spot, and gave each of these drivers a tract.
We always rejoice when a person first takes a tract and then shows interest and immediately begins to read it;
but two of our people found themselves in a situation where they weren't quite rejoicing when this happened. They
handed a cab driver a tract immediately upon getting into his cab and they drove off to their intended location.
The driver began to immediately drive away at a good rate of speed and started reading the tract. He seemed able
to both drive and read and the whole situation worked out well when the cab arrived at it's destination.
The distribution is going along wonderfully and we continue praising our Lord for His amazing grace. We have found
a large number of listeners to Family Radio on the short-wave frequency and we will speak about this in our next
letter. I remain so very grateful for each one who is praying for us and would ask you to pray that I might have
wisdom in the many decisions that await us. May our Lord richly bless you as you seek to be faithful to Him.
"He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. He telleth the number
of the stars, he calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power, His understanding is infinite"

"It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the Salvation of the Lord"
Lamentations 3-26
We continue to rejoice in the blessings of our Lord as we serve Him here in Mexico. We have constantly been meeting
people who have been long time listeners of our shortwave frequency here in Puebla. One man we met claimed that
he had a terrible alchohol addiction years ago and nothing he tried had any effect in providing help.
He further testified that our Lord led him to begin listening to Family Radio. The sermon he heard by Dr Gabriel
Otero, was used by our Lord to help change his life. Another man who was very soft spoken and seemingly having
a very humble Spirit approached our team and began the conversation by telling us that he had been a listener for
over ten years. He spoke at length of the blessings he has received during these many years. It is so exciting
to each of us to see the joy in the eyes of those that approach us with this information.
We can never know all of the stories from all of the listeners all over this world that have benefitted from the
Family Radio Overseas programing, but they are always there when we travel into a city that does receive our signal.
Isn't it wonderful that a city that has such relevance on idolatry, also has larger numbers of God's people safe
in it's care. We come on these trips both to minister by God's grace, to those still in their sins; and also encourage
the believers whenever we might meet together with them.
One of our missionaries found himself in a park on Sunday night surrounded by hundreds of people. Their focus was
a clown who had captured their attention with a series of stunts that had everybody laughing. Our missionary wanted
him to read the tract over a microphone he was using to entertain those in the audience. He boldly held out the
tract and the clown read the lead question on the tract "Does God Love You?" The audience continued laughing
thinking this was a continuation of his act, but the missionary cried "This is an important question!"
Many eyes in the crowd turned to him and immediately a long line formed to receive the tracts being offered.
Our intention is always to get the tract into a persons hand and have him read it. The Scripture says, "To
every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the Heaven"" A time to weep and a time
to laugh". Whatever we do on these mission trips; our intention is always geared to turning a persons eyes
to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Shouldn't this same practice hold forth in our day to day living? We live in a world
that is transitory and everything is dying day by day. The striking question that remains stead fast in our soul
is "Are You Ready to Meet God?" We read in Psalm 86:5 "For Thou Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all they that call upon Thee."
There is always the battle on the mission field between good and evil. Very often in tract distribution itself,
someone will come alongside carrying a message of bondage to Satan. What is the only remedy for a challange such
as this? Bring the True Gospel. One of our missionaries were handing out tracts when a man began handing out leaflets
advertising a lecture on devil worship. This same lecture is being advertised other places around town, but here
was a confrontation between good and evil right as tracts were being offered. Our missionary continued praising
her Lord by pushing on with the distribution. This all seemed reminiscent of Elijaah's confrontation with the four
hundred and fifty prophets of Baal. (1st Kings, Chapter 18). We remember Elijah's words under the influence of
God's Holy Spirit in verse 21, "And Elijah came unto all the people and said, How long halt ye two opinions?
If the Lord be God follow Him: but if Baal then follow him." The coming forth of God's Word brings the division.
"For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing
usunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the
heart" (Hebrews 4:12). We trust that God's Spirit will always conquer evil in this type of confrontation,
and all those campaigning against Christ will be overcome. Our trust in the saving strength of God's Word takes
us through every battle and, the grace of our Lord will always enable us to overcome.
We found a second prison yesterday in a suburb of Puebla called Chualo. Our people happened upon it as they alighted
off of a bus. There were many occasions for good witness and a chance to furnish men in the prison with tracts
and booklets pointing to the salvation every man needs.
Today's newspaper "Puebla Expresion" has an article written by a catholic priest that speaks to the very
heart of our work. He states in essence that "The Catholic Church must wake up", and that other groups
are using a new evangelism centered in radio, TV, and internet and are reaching many people." We have found
that we always make a strong impression in every city we visit and it seems that this is also the case in Puebla.
The article calls our mission work a "new evangelization", however our method of street evangelism goes
back to Biblical times when The Apostles wondered street by street bringing the Gospel. The fact that this priest
mentioned internet and radio would of course be a direct relation to the additional message we bring. Our army
of sixteen missionaries with their white hats and the lettering on them, (familyradio.com), must have made quite
an impression.
Our Lord has blessed our work here quite abundantly and our next letter wll speak about the progress we have made
and our goals still before us.
"Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made Heaven and Earth"

"For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: For what a man seeth,
why doth he yet hope for? 25:But if we hope for that we see not, Then do we with patience wait for it."
Romans 8:24-25
These mission trips are a blessed exercise in hoping and waiting for our Lord, and trusting in His promises. Many
in our group are tired at this point of our mission work, but it is a tiredness I aced with joy because we travel
in the joy of our Lord. Our six new members to Family Radio missions have been a blessing and an encouragement
to other team members; just as the experienced members have been a great helpmate to each of them. We do, however,
travel along after our guiding light that is Jesus Christ. 1st Peter 2:9 "But ye are a chosen generation,
a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called
you out of darkness into it's marvellous light."
We met last night and examined our progress thus far in our mission to the Mexican people. Thus far we have distributed
our material in eight different cities with more yet scheduled. By God's wonderful grace, He has directed us to
two prisons and has helped us to prepare to deliver over two hundred Bibles to men who can't get out to buy a copy
of God's Word. We have already exhausted approximately three quarters of our original 250,000 order of "Does
God Love You?" tracts with 5 days left in our stay here in Puebla. The following decision has been prayerfully
made. We are going to concentrate on areas and towns that will have fewer people that are not as easy to reach.
This might cause us to spend more time in travel, however, people will be reached who may have had less familiarity
with the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. An additional tract order will be placed today based on the ability of the
printer to deliver these additional tracts no later than Saturday morning. We will leave these specifics in the
hands of our Lord for He is indeed the Family Radio Missions Director. Proverbs 3:6 "In all thy ways acknowledge
Him, and He will direct thy paths"
Thursday Morning, March 21, 2002
Yesterday we visited a very beautiful school in central Puebla with over six thousand students. It is obviously
a very disciplined school with very happy students. I believe a happy child is one who is given proper discipline
and this end product of contented children was shown in our visit. The morning school bell rang at 7am and all
of the gates were immediately closed. We witnessed a few late comers sprint from their cars and find there was
no more access. They went back to their parents car and had to drive back home fully mindful of the discipline
that would follow when they returned the next day. The groups of children gathered around a flag pole and recited
a pledge of allegiance to their country as the flag was raised. What fond memories this brought back to the minds
of so many of us.
We distributed thousands of tracts to these students as they lined up in orderly fashion to receive them. As kids
sometimes will do; some were discarded on the ground. One of our missionaries went up and down the street picking
these up and was joined by a security guard. The guard shook his head and stated, "People just don't understand
just how valuable these are". How true was his statement. The over fifty Biblical verses point each man or
woman reading this tract to God's wonderful plan of salvation.
Another team visited a market in a city we had not yet visited. They were let off of their bus in the midst of
a large highway and had to nimbly climb down a slope in order to find a road that would lead them to a market.
There they met a man who began chanting at the top of his voice, "Watch out for these people, for they are
Christians." This man ran into the interior of the market screaming forth this message. The group closed ranks
and decided to remain outside the market passing out tracts. All worked out for good when many of the people who
had heard the warning, came out to view firsthand the message on the tract. This kind of trouble maker very often
works for the good of our Gospel. Romans 8:28 "And we know all things work together for good to them that
love God, to them that are called according to His purpose".
Today, one of our groups went to visit Chualo. This is a quaint little town right outside Puebla. It is a town
with an Indian heritage and once a year they have an Earth Day type ceremony that attracts thousands of people
from surrounding areas. They all come dressed completely in white with many carrying flowers. This parade of people
made a ready target for our tracts and indeed many were distributed. It indeed was counted as a good day by everyone
on this team. Just as the event ended, a shower of rain began. We praise our God that He controls the weather,
and we have been greatly blessed with virtually no rain.
We tried to order additional tracts today, however, the printer was closed up tight in honor of a Catholic holiday.
We will continue to pray for Gods guidence in this area.
When this Mexican mission trip ends, our focus will very quickly move to our Kiev trip to the Ukraine on April
29th. This is a wonderful opportunity to either travel with us, support a missionary to travel along, or send God's
Word, the Bible, to this needy city. You can contact me for further information at 1-800-543-1495 at extension
299.
We are additionally taking of a large mission work in New York City in and around September 11th of this year.
Many will be still confused as to the events on that date last year and what better way to show comfort than with
God's Word.
Thank you again for all your prayers and please continue on until we safely return.
"Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord".

". . . I withheld not my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced in all my labour: and this was my portion of all my labour".
Ecclesiastes 2:10
Our group is indeed rejoiceing in all our labour in and around the city of Puebla, Mexico. We have just about
passed out all of our original order of 250,000 tracts and have also exhausted all of the Bibles from our shipment
from the Trinitarian Bible Society. The last of our Bibles were delivered today to the major prison located just
outside of the city. Our team left for the prison this morning with six cases of Bibles and after many security
checks and accompanying interviews we found ourselves in a huge courtyard with very many convicts and their families.
We met with the prison coordinators and worked out a plan geared toward avoiding the open confusion we had encountered
several other times when we attempted an orderly Bible distribution in a foreign prison. The coordinators had the
men line up single file and approach our location in order to receive their Bible.
Everything went extremely well and we left the mens side pf the prison with approximately fifty Bibles left for
the ladies on the womans side of this huge prison. We quickly distributed the remaining number of Bibles to some
very appreciative and well mannered women as we finished up our Bible supply for this visit. How empty our mission
trips would be without a supply of God's Word, the Bible, for those that are without one and desire and need it
so badly. Just try and imagine what your Bible has meant to you in your life and you might began to appriciate
the priceless value of this gift to a man who is being drawn by our Lord and does not have an adequate copy of
God's precious Word. Our way of thanking our Lord for providing us with a Bible and opening up our eyes to the
tremendous importance of it; is to try to ascertain that we became instrumental in it's distribution to as many
people as possible.
Today is our Lord's special day and we have structured worship and praise services around our tract and Bible distribution.
We began our day with a 6:30am prayer and praise service, ate breakfast, and then each of our teams began their
distribution efforts. Many of our people were led to the churches in order to meet many worshipers coming out of
the doors armed with Palms. Palm Sunday is a large ritual day in Mexico and there are tremendous amounts of Palm
delivered by the Churches during the day. One of our missionaries stood outside a Church and said, "Our Lord
Jesus Christ came into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday in preperation of His dying on the cross for the sins of His people".
Most of those passing by did not understand his english, but he would continue on with his limited spanish in order
to convey his message. Many came and took a tract tucking it very carefully alongside the armful of Palm they were
carrying. Surprisingly, there has been very limited evidence of duplication in light of the many tracts we have
distributed in the city.
The Trinitarian Bible Society sent us a large number of calenders which were free of charge with our Bible order.
They have been happily received by the residents of this city. Each day of the month has a Bible verse and it's
reference listed. This is a wonderful tool for both those who are Christians and those who might not be; but are
open to God's Word. These were especially well received in the prison system by both the guards and the inmates
alike. We want to distribute God's Word in whatever fashion we can, and this has opened up another door of opportunity.
Monday, March 25th, 2002
Today is our last day in this beautiful city. Tommorrow we will board our plane and by God's grace, will travel
to our homes. Our tracts have all been distributed and now we have begun praying for the people in this city and
the surrounding areas, and praising our Lord for allowing us to be here. Our Lord Jesus Christ has been so gracious
to us on these mission trips that we would be worse than unbelievers if we didn't have a word of continuous praise
and thanks for His abiding care.
Our eyes now begin to turn toward the city of Kiev in the Ukraine in which we will spend our efforts beginning
on April 29, 2002. Our Lord has allowed us to find a comfortable hotel and friends to help us during our stay.
Our one continuous need is money to purchase Bibles during our stay. Many of those living in Kiev are on very marginal
incomes and can't afford the relatively high cost of a Bible. Any money sent to Family Radio and ear marked "Bibles
for Kiev", will be used only for that purpose. What a wonderful way to serve our precious Lord. By Gods grace
our next letter will be sent from that beautiful city. Isaiah 10:20 "And it shall come to pass in that day,
that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped out of the house of Jacob, shall no more stay upon him that
smote them; but shall stay upon the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth".
In Christ love,
